Away and Offaway
I don’t know much about
most everybody on the planet
and that is why
I write to you
everyday
I can feel you
not watching
and it
doesn’t bother
this is inscribing
a tombstone
for a fifty years
so that it may stand
in the graveyard
and let others
know
it is okay to die
others have died before
it’s alright
it is saying it is
okay to inscribe
your tombstone
your entire life
and have nothing
but an invisible
towering grave
