across the way
I can see my
nieghbor getting
ready for bed
she stretches
in my
line of sight
in my periphery
there is that
white t-shirt
and two legs
lifting
into the air
I try so hard
to keep
from seeing
anything
of your life
and I feel
guilty
when I do
her cat jumps
on the bed
and nuzzles
as she reads
goddamm I am
so far away
from everyone
who is outside
my house
